Research

I'm a PhD student working in the history of mathematics.

My supervisors are June Barrow-Green (OU), Jackie Stedall (Oxford), and Jeremy Gray (OU).

I am particularly interested in European mathematics in the 17th and 18th centuries, and my thesis will be on the correspondence of the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707—1783) relating to mathematical theories of ship-building.
